Two Paths to Choose From

READY TO TAKE THE LEAD? The AGNP Primary Care program offers an excellent educational foundation in advanced practice nursing and substantial clinical and leadership experience.

The AGNP Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Miami leads to either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with eligibility to take the AGNP Primary Care specialty certification examination; or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), the DNP is emerging as the standard for certification and licensure in advanced nursing practice. The scope of practice is not setting specific but rather it is based on patient care needs.
