The School of Nursing and Health Studies Accelerated BSN Program, is designed to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s nurses. The Accelerated BSN Program is a fast-track program with start dates in May and January and is perfect for students committed to earning their BSN in just 12 months.
The curriculum includes a blend of clinical and classroom education to ensure that our Accelerated BSN students are ready for their NCLEX examination and clinical practice in one year.
Hands-on care is an integral part of our curriculum, student’s work with a wide variety over 200 clinical partners, including University of Miami Hospital, to provide outstanding clinical training and education to be able to provide unmatched patient care.
The state-of-the-art M. Christine Schwartz Center for Nursing and Health Studies provides nursing and health science students with a world-class learning environment at the heart of the beautiful Coral Gables Campus.
The 2017 opening of the school’s new education-based Simulation Hospital Advancing Research and Education (S.H.A.R.E.™) provides real-world impact in an educational setting. The five-story facility, featuring an emergency department, outpatient clinic, NICU, operating rooms and more, will transform lives and communities to make the world a safer place.
Our Accelerated BSN students consistently obtain some of the highest NCLEX scores in South Florida and the nation.
