The Office of Student Services (OSS) supports the mission of the School of Nursing and Health Studies (SONHS) and works closely with current and prospective undergraduate and graduate students to assist them through all aspects of their University of Miami experience.
OSS empowers students to take charge of their education by educating them about their academic requirements, connecting them with their on-campus resources, and encouraging them to plan for graduation and beyond so that they may participate fully in the future of nursing, public health, and health sciences as well-rounded, culturally-competent individuals. The OSS team collaborates with the Office of Admission to enroll new and transfer undergraduate nursing students into the traditional, second degree, and RN-to-BSN programs, provides undergraduate academic advising and career planning and preparation, oversees recruitment and admission processes for all graduate programs, conducts clinical clearances for all students, and serves as the first point of contact for any other undergraduate- and graduate-related issues.
